Men's Spiritual Life Retreat Recap

The 2023 Men's Spiritual Life Retreat was held April 21-22 at Epworth By The Sea on St Simons Island. This in-person event is sponsored by the United Methodist Men of South Georgia and was open to all Christian men of South Georgia to attend.

• Solid biblical teaching by Rev Tommy Mason including small group discussions
• Dynamic and uplifting music led by the Goshen Travelers Band
• Shared fresh testimonies of God's Grace
• Worship time in the Lovely Lane Chapel
• Sending forth service with Communion served by Rev Tommy Mason and Bishop David Graves

Society of St. Andrew - Meals for Millions

In 1998, the Society of St. Andrew joined with the General Commission on United Methodist Men and the National Association of Conference Presidents to establish the Hunger Relief Advocate Initiative. This joint effort, called the HRA Initiative, is designed to help The United Methodist Church engage in ministry to and with the poor and hungry under leadership of United Methodist Men.
 

Your United Methodist Men group can make a commitment today to help end hunger. To support the HRA Initiative, your group needs to do these three things:
 

• PRAY for the Society of St. Andrew and for the HRA Initiative.
• GLEAN with your HRA or with the Society of St. Andrew. If you don’t have gleaning in your area, contact the Society of St. Andrew and they will provide you with the material you need to get started. 
• DONATE at least $200 to Meals for Millions each year. You can achieve this level of giving by having four people in your group become Challenge Disciples. Or you may elect to raise funds for this ministry.
