Clergy Sexual Ethics Workshop – Sept. 13
A Sexual Ethics Workshop is scheduled for Sept. 13, 2012, at St. Paul UMC in Columbus from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.  Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. This workshop is required every three years for persons serving under appointment by the Bishop (clergy, local pastors, extension ministers, appointed lay speakers). Methodist Children’s Home Sunday – Sept. 16

Camp Tygart Camp Meeting – Sept. 16-20

Church Historian Workshop – Sept. 19-20
Your congregation has a story to tell!  Learn how to preserve it by attending the Church Historian Workshop set for September 19-20 at Epworth by the Sea on St. Simons Island.  The workshop will include hands-on training for church historians and all those who care about their church’s heritage. ERT Training - Sept. 28-29
An ERT Training will be held at Pierce Chapel UMC in Columbus on Friday, Sept. 28 from 5:30-9 p.m. and Saturday, September 29 from 8 a.m.-noon. KidzQuest Children’s Retreat – Sept. 28-30
The South Georgia Conference’s annual children's retreat, KidzQuest, is set for Sept. 28-30.  Intended for third- through sixth-grade students, this is an exciting event students won't want to miss!  The cost for the event includes meals, lodging, program, and t-shirt. World Communion Day – Oct. 7
World Communion Day is Sunday, Oct. 7.  World Communion Sunday is one of the six churchwide Special Sundays of The United Methodist Church.
